SNAP-8 (Acetyl-Glu-Glu-Met-Gln-Arg-Arg-Ala-Asp-NH2) is a synthetic octapeptide analogue of SNAP-25. It is investigated in biochemical assays for its interactions with SNARE complex proteins and neurotransmitter release mechanisms.
